Data Deletion Instructions

You can ask CommentKey to delete information associated with your interaction with the connected Instagram account.

How to request deletion

1. Email privacy@commentkey.app with the subject “CommentKey data deletion request”.
2. Include your Instagram username, the connected Instagram account you contacted, and the approximate date of the comment or message.
3. We may ask you to verify control of the account before deleting records, so another person cannot erase your data.

Connected creators can delete individual finished transcripts or clear completed transcription history in the transcription library. They can also use Disconnect and delete data in the CommentKey dashboard to remove their stored token, settings, leads, transcripts, and operational records immediately.

Verified requests are normally completed within 30 days. We will delete or irreversibly anonymize matching application records, except information we must retain for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Routine records are also automatically deleted after 90 days.
